TVS Auto Bangladesh Limited (TVS ABL) is a joint venture company with T V Sundram Iyenger & Sons Ltd., India and Rian Motors Ltd. (a concern of Sony Rangs), Bangladesh. TVS ABL started its journey in Bangladesh in the year 2007. TVS ABL derives its synergies in the form of local knowledge from Rian Motors and expertise of TVS & Sons in managing distribution business. Within seven years of commencing business, Company has become the 2nd highest seller of two wheelers in Bangladesh with 20%+ market share. TVS ABL has 140 dealers all over the country. All of them have ‘3S’ facility, meaning that Sales, Service and Spare Parts are under one roof. Customer Satisfaction is company’s topmost priority; as such they have company owned service center at top 07 towns. To cater every corner of the county and provide quality service facilities, it has more than 400 Certified Service Point (CSP).
TVS ABL having a State-of-art motorcycle assembly plant at Tongi, Gazipur. Here, each and every motorcycle is tested, inspected, and trialed before it is rolled out to dealers and customers. The plant has a capacity of producing 1 lakh units annually.
The customer and his ever changing need is TVS’s continuous source of inspiration. TVS Apache has already been the talk of the town and is the pride model for every youth in Bangladesh. Apache RTR 150 CC is born from the race track was designed by the combination of race track technology & test driven components at Apache Racing Group. Metro, the 100 CC model is one of the most fuel efficient bikes in the country which plays an important role in Bangladesh’s economy. Wego is the best selling scooter in the country, which is designed for male and female both, Wego made way for Bangladesh Women Police who are now riding TVS Wego scooter which will create a trendsetting model for every working women and college girls. The XL 100 brand of TVS is a unique product that claims its own segment and is quite popular in terms of sales, especially in rural markets. It is a dependable option for small-time traders/ businessmen, to improve their business profits.
In Future TVS ABL aims at being the top most two wheeler manufacturing company in Bangladesh. They already started acquiring land for the factory at Bhaluka, Mymensingh. For the year ahead TVSABL wants to fully capitalize the positive growth of the brand. Their effort for offering quality products, latest technology, excellent after sales support, genuine spare parts availability will continue year after year to establish TVS as most valuable & preferred motorcycle brand in the country.
